The Verity installer sets up Navigator, by Sector3 Software, on a computer you control. With Docker installed, it takes one claim code and about ten minutes, and your information stays on that computer.

It checks first
Docker, disk space and whether it can reach our licensing server. If the server isn't ready, it stops before changing anything.
It redeems your code
Each code works once. Redeeming it is the moment your server's credentials are created, not before.
It writes your settings
A Docker Compose file, a settings file and a backup script, in a folder you choose. Nothing is hidden.
It starts Navigator
No incoming port is opened. Your server connects out, so Navigator answers on its own web address and nowhere else.

Not every organization has someone to look after a server, and that shouldn't decide which software you can use. We can run Navigator for you on servers in Canada. It's the same software, with the same features.
- Your data is stored in Canada
- Your organization's records are stored on servers in Canada. Emails and texts you send from Navigator pass through providers outside Canada, as our privacy policy explains.
- Nothing to look after
- We handle updates, backups, monitoring and security certificates. You get Navigator and an administrator account.
- You can leave with your data
- Export your data at any time while you're a customer, and for 30 days after you leave. If you later want to run Navigator yourself, it's the same software and your data comes with you.

- If you're installing it yourself
- You'll need a computer or server you control, with Docker installed. Docker is a free program Navigator runs inside (why we use Docker). Two processor cores and 4 GB of memory is enough to start.
- If we're hosting it
- Nothing to prepare. Tell us roughly how many people will use Navigator, and we'll reply with the cost and how long setup takes.
- What we send back
- A claim code for your account, and an email invitation so your first administrator can set their own password. We never see that password.
- Already a customer?
- If a code has expired or gone missing, ask here and we'll send a new one. Your data isn't affected.
